Your year-end gift is vital for helping us pay the design team, actors, crew, and rehearsal locations. If everyone donates just $20 we will be fully funded, but no amount is too small or too large!

Generation (Laz)Y is a 90 minute satire about the economy and the Millenial or “Gimme” generation. It follows Margaret Chatterly, a thirty-something woman living in a tent in her parents’ backyard holding down two minimum wage jobs and one unpaid internship, who is convinced she is dying. The play takes us through her struggles of trying to get one of her jobs to give her enough hours and pay to drop any of her other jobs before she dies of stress, ulcers, or the stupidity that is slowly crushing her.

Ashley Lauren Rogers is one of the most prolific and talented people I know, and we happened to have been friends for 10 years!
Lara Fox is an actor-turned-producer who is excited to help provide a platform for this wonderful piece.

• Generation (Laz)Y is presented by The Tank

• The Tank is a non-profit arts presenter serving emerging artists engaged in the pursuit of new ideas and forms of expression. We serve over 2,000 artists every year in over 800 performances in our new home on 36th Street, and work across all disciplines, including theater, comedy dance, film music, public affairs, and storytelling. Our goal is to foster an environment of inclusiveness and remove the burden of cost from the creation of new work for artists launching their careers and experimenting within their art form. We keep ticket prices affordable and view our work as democratic, opening up both the creation and attendance of the arts to all.
