NEVILLE Dance Theatre's Twelfth Fall Season
    World Premiere - ELEMENTS
    Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 3:30 and 7:30pm
    Martha Graham Studio Theatre, NYC

Your support is needed in helping us present our 12th fall season of new works and repertory favorites of riveting and innovative contemporary dance.

“Ambitious and provocative...Neville’s choreography is original and inventive.  See a Neville Dance Theatre production the minute you can.  You will have your senses awakened and your mind stirring.” - Liv Cummins, freelance writer

Neville Dance Theatre, a non-profit, Manhattan based contemporary dance company presents their 12th fall season of two world premieres, repertory favorite Exposed and community collaborations with our Chance to Choreograph program selectee Nanako Kitagawa, costume designer Yuliya Lobach from Belarus and technical artists comprised of both professionals and volunteers. Our company of nine exceptional dancers performs innovative programming that explores universal themes, diverse movement ideologies and reflections about the world in which we live and the human condition.

Your support is needed to help us realize the creation and presentation of this production which includes the following programming:
ELEMENTS - World premiere by choreographer Brenda Neville.
The moods, energies and qualities of the four elements Air, Fire, Water and Earth come to vivid life in four sections - Zephyr, Embers, Raindrops and Gemstones - Amethyst, Rhodocrosite, Agate and Labradorite. The work includes vibrant image projections, video footage, new costume designs by Yuliya Lobach and music by Four Tet, Chopin, Christopher O'Riley, Max Richter and more.

CHILDREN'S CORNER - World premiere of CHILDREN'S CORNER, a neo-classical ballet in four sections set to the music of Claude Debussy by guest choreographer and our Chance To Choreography program selectee Nanako Kitagawa.

EXPOSED - An audience repertory favorite choreographed by Brenda Neville, EXPOSED is a feast of towering shadow images and movement that explodes with a sense of magic, intrigue, beauty and energy. Creatively incorporating hand-held lights, this contemporary dance piece represents our sense of overexposure, depletion of privacy and vulnerability in an online, interconnected world.

    ·       Venue rental $1,000 still owed
    ·       Videographer $400 and Photographer $500
    ·       Costuming $500
