Please support our independent, volunteer-run collective by making a monthly or one-time contribution of $100, $50, $20, $10, $8, or $1.
GOAL EXPLANATION:
We need to raise $20,000 to continue providing a vital gathering space for individuals of all ages and identities to get inspired, build lasting connections, and create amazing zines, videos, radio shows, events, and merch, while feeling a sense of shared ownership over the space and its operations.
OUR HISTORY:
We've been operating for 13 years now, a miracle considering our not-for-profit and anti-capitalist goals and standards.
We make it a point to keep our zine fair, concerts, and parties free or financially accessible without accepting money from corporations – so much so that our members frequently donate their time and resources to keep things running.
We have a small office in Manhattan Chinatown that acts as a third space for people to work on creative projects and hang out.
We use it to maintain an expanding zine archive, provide printing resources to ~200 members and allied groups, broadcast dozens of weekly radio shows, produce apparel, store equipment, support TV production, host meetings, and more.
All this costs money and doesn't return much – already short on rent for the remainder of our lease, we may be forced to move in the coming months.
