This summer, I'm gathering a group of old comrades from my Experimental Theater Wing undergrad days who were in my early performance works (Christine Holt, Rohana Kenin, Raquel Cion, plus special guests) and I'm making a new feature-length movie. We're going back to our Grotowski roots and creating an improvised, middle-aged Midsommar: Plants and trees and theater people and a score by Bobby Previte on a 1980s synthesizer he found at the dump. Blood and guts and ecstatic rituals and deep questions about what is acting? Who are we becoming? And it's called:
