Arrorró, my second solo album is almost ready!
As Reencuentros was inspired by my mom, and the beautiful songs I heard from her while growing up, this new album is inspired by my daughter, and my experience as a mother, as well as the experiences of other parents around the world.
That is why this album will be a compilation of Lullabies ranging from the Renaissance period, to the 21st century encompassing a variety of genres and music styles.
Produced once more by multiple time Grammy Award winner Blanton Alspaugh, and recorded at Wire Road Studios in Houston, Texas, with our favorite recording engineer Andrew Bradley, this album promises to bring the beauty of these songs, old and new, in a new, innovative way.
Thanks to the generosity of distinguished donors, I was able to cover most of the album expenses.
I am asking for your help today to make a tax deductible donation to present a pre-release concert, which will include all these songs from around the world, including a wide variety of musicians. More importantly, this concert will support and benefit the opening of Saint Philip Day School, a place providing services to families experiencing financial hardship.
Your contribution will not only support the arts, but by extension will help our community.
I am already full of gratitude for your constant support throughout my career.
See you soon!
Cecilia.
