By donating to this campaign (with the option of claiming a mug) you will be helping us to raise money for more commissions of climate focused artwork. It is part of our mission at Artists Climate Collective to be able to compensate artists at a fair rate. In the past, ACC has commissioned choreographers, dancers, visual artists, clothing designers, videographers, composers, and we hope to be able to work with many more in the future!
Your donation to this campaign will directly support our current project, 'Art to Action 22', a dance film series. This project challenges four choreographers to create their own unique dance film which encompasses an idea around climate change. The collision of dance and climate action demonstrated in these films allows the viewer to feel ideas around climate change that are often difficult to scale in our minds. Art allows emotion to surface in unusual and spectacular ways and we hope to draw that out through this project.
This series involves over 50 artists and is one of ACC's largest undertakings. Artists are sharing their voices with us from all around the continent to make this project come alive, including San Francisco, Atlanta, Portland and Winnipeg (Canada).
It is extremely important to Artists Climate Collective to collaborate with these amazing talents to continue to reach towards our mission and goals. Please consider supporting their work and bringing this film to life!
For a donation of $35 or more, donors may choose a mug, handcrafted by Portland Ceramist, Izzy Brand. The mugs come in a variety of shapes and colors and are all inspired by natural spaces around Oregon. Each mug was hand thrown at the Mud Room in Portland, OR!

ACC had an extremely successful 'Art to Action 2021' film which premiered in August of last year. The film was featured in Pointe Magazine, Dance Informa, NPR, the Columbus Dispatch, Ballet Harold, and other publications. We are hoping to make an even bigger splash in the dance world and beyond this year and we are hoping that you can help us! Artists Climate Collective is a collaboration between art and climate science. We commission artists to create work driven by climate change with the goal of inspiring artists and patrons to act in more sustainable ways.
