R.Y.S.E. Conservatory, Ballet and Beyond NYC’s intensive summer program, is in its 11th year and has served over 700 students, ages 8 – 17. Every participant receives a full scholarship to work intensively with NYC professionals from Dance and Broadway backgrounds and to grow from raw talent to confident stage-ready performers. Our program is unique in uniting experienced teaching artists with students whose families cannot access this training in existing schools. The work each student does in owning their technique and accomplishments is transformational over a short period of time, thanks to the commitments of both the teaching staff and the students. Our most important goal is that each child grows in their artistic pursuit.
 
 The final performances in a professional theater far surpass the families' and students’ expectations, demonstrating the power of dance, music, story-telling, and mind-body connection to stimulate learning at every level.
 
 "R.Y.S.E. brings out the best in the students, and that is what I want for my daughter." The sentiment is simple but says it all. Most of our students would not have discovered their passion for the performing arts without our program, as we accept students solely on the basis of demonstrated interest. Over half of our students return each year, with new students finding us on the recommendation of alumni families and teaching artist outreach. Many counselors and junior teachers are alumni of R.Y.S.E.
 
 We REALLY need your support. Our goal is to raise $30,000 toward our $160,000 summer budget. Your donations will cover teaching artists, space rental, and dance and performance supplies. Most of our students come from families who cannot pay tuition for extracurricular activities, but they are so grateful for the positive and lasting changes they see in their children once they truly internalize the mindset of an artist.
