The publication of Cinderellas of West 53rd Street: Stories from the Legendary Rehearsal Club in May, 2023 and now the publication of the audiobook in February, 2024 has all our Cinderella writers ready to rock the room in celebration. Join us!!
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
Boockvor Productions, in partnership with Fractured Atlas, helped fund theatrical events since 2006 to help heighten awareness in NYC for the loss of The Rehearsal Club, a "safe haven" since 1913 in NYC for young theater women - and which closed in 1979. Friendships made in those early days of all our theatrical careers remained, and our creative energy then helped move TRC to once again incorporate in 2019.
BOOK PUBLICATION:
Boockvor Productions, meanwhile, continued to make magic for TRC's writers by finding a small publisher, Bear Manor Media, and then coordinating the efforts of the Cinderella Company to publish our memoir book, "Cinderellas of West 53rd Street: Stories from the Legendary Rehearsal Club" in May, 2023.
AUDIOBOOK PUBLICATION:
The rest of last year, Boockvor Productions coordinated the efforts of each writer, now located all over these United States, to read their story for the audiobook to be published by Blackstone Publishing on February 20, 2023.
Now we want to party!! And we want ALL OF YOU TO COME TO OUR BALL!!
Dedicated to the recent passing of our Cinderella Sister, Judy Jenson ("Kids Are Always In"), we seek YOUR support to raise our voices in song to her memory.
