Help us keep BAR thriving and send Issue 03: Tracing Movement to Print!
As we approach the one year anniversary of sending Boston Art Review Magazine to print for the very first time, we’re looking back on an incredible year. We’ve accomplished a lot, but we need your support to keep going. While we love providing this service to our arts community, we need help covering our growing overhead costs.
- We created two 150 page print publications
- Sold out of Issue 01 and Issue 02
- Hit the shelves at 7 stockists
- Launched a weekly calendar newsletter for Boston art events
- Published 12 Essays, 60 Reviews, 19 Interviews, and 6 Video Interviews
- Hosted two launch events that each welcomed over 350 guests
- Partnered with community leaders to host a panel discussion at the Boston Art Book Fair
- Fostered a diverse community of artists across New England
And guess what! We did all of this with a small team of volunteers, contributing writers, artists, editors, and designers, who are dedicated to fostering discourse around Boston’s art community.
