Across the Bridge
Bridge Percussion is entering an exciting new chapter. Since forming in 2024, we have grown from a one-time performance project into a Chicago-based collective dedicated to expanding the possibilities of percussion ensemble music. In just two years, this vision has led to cross-genre performances and recordings with singer-songwriter Sachi Keiko, collaborative projects through our inaugural Bridge Connects concert and Bridge X Blacktop Percussion Midwest tour, performances at venues including Chicago Symphony Center, Constellation Chicago, and Zhou B Art Center, and partnerships with organizations such as the Negaunee Music Institute, Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and Oh Art Foundation.

We are building on this momentum for the 2026/27 season with new concerts throughout Chicago and beyond, new recordings, commissioned works, and expanded community outreach, educational programs, and partnerships. Through these projects, we aim to share the artistic possibilities of percussion ensemble music with broader audiences while continuing to expand the art form through new creative work.
We are seeking to raise $15,000 to support this next chapter of Bridge Percussion. Your tax-deductible donations will directly support:
- Operating costs for our rehearsal studio space
- Production costs for future concerts and events
- Instrument maintenance, repairs, rentals, and new equipment
- Recording and releasing new percussion projects
- Commissioning new works that expand the percussion repertoire
How Your Gift Makes an Impact
Every contribution directly supports Bridge Percussion's artistic work.
- $200 helps cover specialty accessories and small instrument purchases unique to each series of performances
- $800 covers one month of operating costs for our rehearsal studio, providing a dedicated creative home where we rehearse, develop new projects, and build future performances
- $1,000 helps cover production expenses for a concert, including venue fees, instrument transportation, and technical production costs
- $3,000 supports a professional recording project, allowing us to share our work with audiences well beyond the stage
Every contribution, regardless of size, plays an important role in our season. As a thank you, all donors will be recognized in our concert programs.
Looking Ahead
Highlights of our 2026/27 season include:
- A new collaboration and Midwest tour with singer-songwriter Sachi Keiko
- The next season of Bridge Connects, bringing together independent new music ensembles from across Chicagoland
- Educational and community programs, including participation in the Chicagoland Percussion Festival
- Performances as part of Midwest Young Artists Conservatory's Music at the Fort concert series and Constellation Chicago's Frequency Series
- Additional performances and artistic projects—including several exciting events to be revealed throughout the season
