Building Better People Productions is excited to tell you about our Fall 2021 Virtual Fundraiser, "Happy Songs We Got The Rights To"!  We are all about positivity around here,  and we are doing a cabaret-type show where some of our BBPP family will sing some of their favorite uplifting songs, which fits right into our mission to spread kindness and happy to kids and their grownups. It will be a musical day of fun, and since we are also about the satisfaction that comes with paying people what they are with, we are only singing songs that are covered under the ASCAP license we bought, hence the title of the show! There will be performances from some of our past acting company, as well as talented friends of ours who we haven't gotten to work with yet. BUT NOW WE WILL AND IT WILL BE AMAZING.

On Sunday, November 14, you will have TWO chances to see our bundle of harmonic happiness! We will be performing our show LIVE at 2 PM EST and 5 PM  EST that day at ArtFarm Annapolis and livestreaming to YOU, wherever you are! All you have to do is donate to this campaign: There are different financial levels, with different rewards, and each level gets you a link to the performance of your choice! Money raised will go towards things like paying for artistic people like actors and playwrights and directors and stage managers; and publicity and marketing; and props and costumes, and all of the things we spend money on to do our shows and teach our classes. And because we are fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts organization, your donations are tax-deductible (minus the ticket price)!

So: I said this last year for our 2020 fundraiser, and it still holds true: We know that people are still struggling,  and that not everyone will be able to contribute. We are still in a pandemic, and even though some things are better, they aren't that way for everyone.  It's a hard time.  Honestly, we want you to all be okay, and do what you need to get that way. Maybe you will find a fundraising level that works for you, as we all work together to do our part to make our worlds a little kinder, right where we are. And even if you can't, everyone, take care of you, okay? And then, take care of each other by being empathetic and kind since this is why we do this anyway.
