It’s our favorite season, and Built4Collapse is stepping into a year packed with performances, experimental process pieces, and stylish salons showcasing bold ideas and fearless attitudes.
Including **drumroll please***
- MACBETH limited-edition performance drop: Something Wicked This Way Comes. A runway of ruin. Couture-level chaos. Power suits and killer silhouettes. A night you won’t shake.
- Play tests of Dave Tennent’s video game American Witch - A washed up witch left for dead in Utah hits the road on blood-and-spells-soaked rampage to confront their ex and rescue their cat. ***A perfect comfort-cozies play-in-your-PJs thrill ride.***
- Open Set of U + ME @ The Edge of the Earth - A sci-fi story about our ability to make sh*t up and believe it. Two kids meet at a party with an alien punk band and follow a bird into a time collapse where history—from 9/11 to the fall of the Berlin Wall—erupts all at once in an endlessly editable feed. ***Come dressed in your decade of choice! ***
It's ALL about the WORK this year, get deep into rehearsals and PROCESSING so we can deliver on our promise to make BOLD new work for years to come! We’re excited to jump in at our first rehearsal on January 1st (HAPPY NEW YEAR Y’ALL), but now we need YOUR support to help us tie a big bow on our budget. We’re looking to raise $4000 before 2026—This $4,000 will make a real difference—helping us pay our incredible artists, secure rehearsal space, brew fresh work, and kick off the new year in style.
Plus your donation (via Fractured Atlas) is tax-deductible! Help us reach our goal (All we need is 100 donations of $40.00).
Here’s a further breakdown of how the funds will be used:
- $500 → Rehearsal space for a one-week workshop
- $300 → Production design materials for Macbeth
- $200 → Software & gear for U + ME @ the Edge of the Earth
- $150 → Funds admin, keeps the books tidy while we make chaos
- $100 → Supports one day of an artist’s pay
- $50 → Supports archival goodies: photos, prints, and documentation
- $25 → Covers research, snacks, and small acts of creative rebellion
A little goes a long way (or so they say…) Will you help us get there?
