Burlesque & Chill is a highly collaborative troupe of burlesque performers, dancers, musicians, costume designers and more championing freedom of expression, bodily autonomy, and diverse representation on stage.
Beginning in April of 2020, Burlesque & Chill was born during stay-at-home orders and quickly found a global audience, providing joy, levity, and solidarity for our growing community and contributing to consistent income for performers who were unable to work in traditional venues. Since then, we've worked closely as a troupe to build a production company we are all invested in and bring stellar, high-production shows to Los Angeles, working with small, independent theatres and venues.
Together, we have:
Put on over 130 unique shows
Served over 3k audience members
Raised over $7k for charitable causes
Provided opportunities to over 150 performers
Provided opportunities to dozens of collaborators
Partnered with dozens of small businesses and independent artists
Held over 30 classes and workshops, providing scholarships for low-income performers

As we've evolved to a mid-size production with 22 dedicated company members and a handful of additional guest performers, collaborators, and partners every show, we've been able to keep our costs for the year down by producing less shows overall, but making them more impactful!
We have 3, large shows we plan to put on in 2026 with each running 2 days over one weekend that contribute to our overall financial deficit for the year. We do our best to ensure any additional events do not contribute to our overall deficit.

Hollywood Fringe Festival: Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid Our Original Adaptation with Our Own, Very Queer, Happy Ending Featuring Burlesque, Dance & Live Music June 20th & 21st
Live Band SCREAMTACULAR Horror-Themed Burlesque, Dance & Live Music September 26th & 27th
All of these shows will take place at our home theatre, The Cat's Crawl, in East Hollywood.
Without raising any additional funds beyond ticket sales and additional show-related revenue sources, we have a projected deficit of $10,500 for 2026. Every donation to this fundraiser will help us get closer to break even and go towards:
