"Never have I seen Beckett's words with more clarity of shape.  Hats off to the team!"
 [Richard Maxwell, January 28th 2026]

Lilac Co must raise $2000 for artist stipends to show this play now with a remarkable Burkina Faso Ensemble.
This is Samuel Beckett's masterpiece "The Unnamable" performed live (in-excerpt) and translated live into MOORE' with Lancina Belem, Oussou Gouem, Yahaya Kabore, Sean Lewis.
Somewhere in the Ouagadougou, sometime in the middle of the night, two Burkinabae and a Nasara make tea when "The Unnamable" happens.
Your donation today gives this work a chance to get to a broader audience.

"Everyone will love this play!  It's funny, heavy, and beautiful and Lancina is a genius on stage, and in today's 'ICE-riddled-nightmare' there is no work I have come across more needed for everyone!"
[poet E.J. McAdams after opening night on Jan 17th, 2026]

Please help this work be shown again by giving today.
