I've been invited to perform Becoming Chavela, my bi-lingual musical play, at a Latin culture center in New York City and at a theater in Lima, Peru.This ninety-minute musical play with a bi-lingual book story, is emotionally driven by dance and music, both traditional Mexican music and original songs composed for Becoming Chavela. I am asking for funding for both the New York City and international production.
