Mozart's Magic Flute
Support Prelude Opera's production of Mozart’s Magic Flute.
LogoRedBackground.png215.13 KBLast year we presented Barab's Little Red Riding Hood, as seen in the video clip above. This fall we will present a delightful rendition of Mozart's Magic Flute arranged by Roger Brunyate. It will be performed in English with professional opera singers and a pianist. This version tells the story from the birdman “Papageno’s” perspective and involves colorful costumes and scenery along with some of the greatest music ever composed. The opera will be performed at several venues this October with a stage and piano, and at least one outdoors performance and one free performance.
Presenting an opera is expensive because it involves so many art forms! Funding pays not only the performers, but also the set designer, the stage director, the stage manager and crew, rental space, costumes, sound equipment and many other things behind the scenes! We aim to pay our artists fairly and keep the ticket prices low so it is accessible to as many people as possible.
