Hello world! CHLOROPHYLL is in the can and the edit is underway. We're so grateful to everyone who's made the film possible to this point. Now, we're raising $7,000 to complete the film and distribute. Your tax-deductible contribution will pay:
our fabulous post-production team (editor, motion graphics designer, composer, color grader, sound designer)
CHLOROPHYLL is an offbeat satire about Lola, a social media influencer with a fear of the outside world. She fills her home with houseplants, flirts with the camera, and broadcasts her illusion to a modest but devoted social media following. But when Lola's addiction to this fantasy finally pushes away her only human companion, things get really, really weird. (Spoiler alert: there's a talking spider plant.)
Inspired by B-horror movies and cult classics, CHLOROPHYLL is a film about obsession and delusion, connection and isolation. It's a romp through the echo chamber of one woman's psyche. It's a wild ride—and we’d love for you to join the adventure.
Your tax deductible donation will make a MOVIE! It will live on forever as a dynamic, one-of-a-kind piece of art. And we think that's pretty special.
