Dear supporters, dancers, audience members, and dance enthusiasts,
We are a new nonprofit dance organization right here in the heart of Columbia, Missouri: Columbia Ballet and Columbia Ballet Academy. Started by former Mareck Center for Dance staff members Alec Roth and Sophia Myers, we are on a mission to bring high quality affordable dance and dance education to all in mid-Missouri.
As a new organization we need your help to get us on our toes! With your generous support you will help us bring the highest quality dance and dance education to Columbia.
The funds raised will directly contribute to:
- Providing free of charge First Friday performance by professional dancers
- Scholarship opportunities for students
- DanceAbility - adaptive classes for dancers of all abilities
- Our efforts in providing fair compensation to our dedicated teachers
- Building a brand new Nutcracker for the community of Columbia
- Sustaining the operations of our new dance organization
We couldn't have reached this point without the unwavering support of our community. Columbia's passion and dedication to the arts has made our dream possible.
