2017-18 Events:
- Monsters, Creatures & Legends: Art Songs that go Bump in the Night
- Join Sarah Stone, Eapen Leubner, John Seesholtz and Mallory Bernstein for this revival of one of our most popular shows. Performances will take place in Littleton, Denver and at CSU in Fort Collins in October, 2017
- Outsiders: Song Cycles from the Fringe
- Margaret Ozaki, John Seesholtz, Eapen Leubner and Mallory Bernstein perform song cycles that explore the fringes of society... hermits, travelers, gypsies and more in early December, 2017.
- Pillars of African American Art Songs
- Stephanie Ann Ball returns to curate and perform on this retrospective of African American Art Songs with guest artists from around the country. This show marks our first contribution to Black History Month in February, 2018.
- April Fool's Songs: Art Songs with a Punchline
- Sarah Stone, Eapen Leubner, John Seesholtz and Mallory Bernstein perform humorous art songs that will charm and entertain. Be prepared to laugh! April, 2018.
- The 2018 High School Art Song Prize
- Denver Art Song Project founders, Eapen Leubner and Mallory Bernstein, team up with their Alma Mater, Ithaca College, to hold this first-ever competition. The first place winner will receive a $10,000 scholarship to Ithaca College (some conditions apply)
About our shows:
Our Friday night "Soiree" performances are at St. Frances Cabrini Parish in Littleton and will include snacks and drinks at intermission. Meet new art song friends and fellow audience members and mingle with the artists after the show.
Our "On the Road" shows take us to venues in Ft. Collins, including CSU's Organ Recital Hall and the Music District, to meet new art song friends.
Our Matinee "Family Art Song Series" at Wash Park Center for Music and Arts is where we welcome your entire family for the low price of $25.
