Dances reflect the generous and willing spirit of our Celebrities and the creativity and choreographic skill of our Professionals. A truly Missoula event. The Downtown Dance Collective is now is their 11th year of service to Missoula. We are proud to say we offer programs for adults and children, Every Body, Every Ability. We offer community classes and First Fridays free to the public, and classes for children and dance and fitness classes for adults all at low cost. We produce theatre and dance events as well offer our to local organizations for fundraisers and events. Two of our newest programs are Dancing Out of the Dark, a dance program that focuses on teens and young adults experiencing isolation, depression and anxiety. Our second new program this year is Elders and Youngers dance. It represents a partnership with The Springs Assisted Living facility here in Missoula. Our young dancers dance with the elders of The Springs community bridging the gap of age and background to meet in a joyful and playful space. Please consider supporting the DDC today. At the end of the show, BEFORE the winner is announced, 10 audience members will be chosen from a hat that willing participants have added their names to at intermission. These 10 audience members will come up on stage and have a dance battle hosted by our MC. The audience chooses the winner and the winner chooses the team this money will go. The team that raises the most money wins, so this pot of money could change the outcome entirely! This is a great way to support the DDC and add to the drama to this exciting fundraiser!
