dropshift will celebrate 15 years of producing innovative, intimate, and approachable dance productions in 2025, and we need your help to keep our local and nationwide programming going strong. In April 2024 we successfully inhabited the 6,000 square Chicago landmark mansion, Colvin House with our production of ROOMS, and our next phase if this project is to tour mini and large scale iterations of the project in the Chicagoland area and beyond. WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOUR DONATION SUPPORT? Your donation will be essential to us securing programming opportunities for the 2024/25 season and to help support a tour of our recent work ROOMS. Donations will go towards an array of operational, artistic and production expenses like: Artistic Stipends for collaborating dancers, visual artists, composers, designers and video artists, Venue Rentals for rehearsal and performance, Administrative and Insurance costs, Material Costs for sets, costume, and installation environments, Lighting Design, Rental Expenses for lighting, projection and sound, Marketing Design and Print Costs, Documentation Costs and Technology Costs associated with live feed projection and video installation elements and a portion of yearly Operational Expenses.
