ePOP is thrilled to be a founding partner of Philly PrideAF! The festivalwas created by a coalition of five Philadelphia-based arts organizations, and together in June, we are presenting a month-long, citywide celebration of LGBTQIA+ artists, stories, and community.
Affectionately branded Philly PrideAF, the festival is co-produced to pool resources, audiences, and creative vision. This model allows the festival to be rooted in artistic excellence, access, and collective care.
Running throughout Pride Month at various locations across Philadelphia, the festival will feature performances, concerts, cabaret, outdoor events, and community engagement activities, highlighting the depth and diversity of the city’s queer artistic landscape.
ePOP is proud to be producing THREE events in the Philly Pride Arts Festival:
Kicking off Pride AF, ePOP presents this pride cabaret that examines how queer communities respond to fear, hatred, and erasure, not by shrinking, but by transmuting those forces into protest, radical joy, love, and perseverance.
Fear & Self-Loathing in Philadelphia is hosted byBalena Canto. Starring artists soprano Ashley Marie Robillard, mezzo-soprano Lauren Cook, tenor Jonathan Pierce Rhodes, pianist Reese Revak, and DJ and beatmaker Omar Saleem; whose work has been heard on stages including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Carnegie Hall, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Sydney Opera House, Alice Tully Hall, Wigmore Hall, and venues throughout Europe.
ePOP's second offering, in collaboration with Wear Yellow Proudly, is a cabaret which explores the unique perspectives of Queer-Asian experiences. Highlighting Queer and Asian composers and librettists, it features songs and arias from the traditional classical canon alongside works by living composers.
Memoirs of a Gaysian stars tenor Spencer Britten, countertenor Chuanyuan Liu, and pianist Jeremy Chan, whose work has been heard on stages including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Carnegie Hall, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Sydney Opera House, Alice Tully Hall, Wigmore Hall, and venues throughout Europe.
Now in its 5th year at Arts on Center Stage, ePOP returns during the Philly Pride Arts Festival with a vibrant evening of Opera and Jazz in the heart of Philadelphia. Acclaimed vocalists tenor, Teddy Balfour-Austin, and soprano and jazz artist, Nia Drummond, join forces with outstanding pianist and collaborator, Aurelien Eulert, for an unforgettable live performance. We’re proud to continue sharing this annual tradition with the Philadelphia community.
Running throughout Pride Month at various locations across Philadelphia, the festival will feature performances, concerts, cabaret, outdoor events, and community engagement activities, highlighting the depth and diversity of the city’s queer artistic landscape.
ePOP is also proud to be leveraging community partnerships to help schedule additional events such as quiz nights, special drink and food discounts throughout the city, and more!
Our funding comes from individual donors like you! A gift of any amount makes a huge difference to our independent, artist founded company.
Your donations will go straight to paying the artists first. We have over a dozen stellar artists as well as a graphic designer and photographers that are lending their brilliance to bring these performances to life.
We believe in providing fair compensation for performing artists. Your support helps provide opportunities and a fair wage for our incredible artists.

Stretch Goal:
Although $4000 will be an incredible help, we would be ecstatic to reach for a goal of $6,000. That extra $2,000 would help us cover over half of our costs! We hope to cover the remainder of our costs with tickets sales and foundational support.
A gift of any size is amazing and we appreciate your help in spreading the word.
As one of our favorite people always says, "There is no gift too small, and there is no gift too large!"
Thank you for being on this journey with us. We can't wait to share our Philly PrideAF events with you!
