EAT THE MAMA will have its LA premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in June! Our incredible creative team is reuniting to make this happen. And we need your support! Funds raised will pay for venue and artist fees, along with travel costs to bring this Bay Area-based team down to LA.

EAT THE MAMA started at my kitchen table when I was a new mother. In the wee hours of the morning, I crouched and poured my frustrations, fears, and rage into tear-stained journals. With the help of over 100 supporters, I self-produced the world premiere in San Francisco in fall 2023. The result was theater magic!! A team of artists brought their sound, light, set, and direction to shape this play into something real for audiences in San Francisco. Four performances - that’s it. And I heard from so many people about how my story spoke to their stories of early parenthood, body stuff, gender dynamics, and mom baggage.  So, we’re bringing it back, because four performances wasn’t enough!

HOW YOUR DONATION WILL HELP
$8,000 Artist fees
$3,000 Travel to LA for Bay Area creatives
$4,000 Rehearsal and performance venue fees

I am determined in this run to reach out to moms and parent groups in the LA area, so this story can reach and amplify the stories of so many others who find themselves isolated in that strange space station of early parenthood. Help us make this happen!
