Peggy stopped in front of "Time with Them." 

She explored it with her eyes and her heart — beads and balls against a black star field, the constellation of everyone she'd loved in her 90-some years. She didn't know the story that inspired the work. And yet, she recognized the whole of it as her own. That connection — storyteller to artist to viewer, one town to the next — is what your support builds: something meaningful in ways neither the artist nor the contributors could ever predict.
What one visitor releases at The Writing Desk becomes the inspiration for new art. That art travels. At future places, different people may see themselves in it - a contribution from an earlier visitor at a different place and time who they may never, ever meet...
