Engage Playwright's Lab is excited to announce their next production 'Dreams and Choices' by Craig Perkins. 

This is a play about three New Yorkers today and how they deal with relationships, mental health and friendship. Seems like friendship is most important. Second, Chinese take out. 

Our goal is to produce an off-broadway run of 'Dreams and Choices' in the coming months and we are fundraising to make this possible. We are all deeply passionate about this play and believe the themes our important to society today, we can't wait to share this story with our audience. Your donation will support the technical aspects and production of this play. 

Engage Playwrights Lab brings actors, directors, and playwrights together in collaboration to create new works. Taking a playwright's first drafts to the table, actors read aloud pieces and discuss areas for enhancement with the playwright. As the playwright revises their script, a director joins the conversation to help elicit an alignment among all creatives in envisioning the story. Utilizing communication amongst actors, playwrights, and directors, Engage Playwrights Lab strives to build a foundational environment for developing artists to hone their craft while facilitating creative relationship-building amongst such innovative teams.

We are committed to finding, exploring, and showing the work of new artists as they develop their stories while simultaneously looking back and studying the influences of their work. Engage Playwrights Lab was founded by Craig Perkins in 2021 to serve as a platform for inventive scripts and performance work. All art and people are welcome in our collaborative community.
