You are warmly invited to join Ensemble Affect this November in Burlingame and Berkeley for Love and Joy, a relaxed, inviting concert experience bathed in candlelight. Like our popular yoga concerts, Love and Joy offers an opportunity to unwind and experience calming music in a beautiful, subdued setting, with a quiet glow befitting the darkening days of autumn.

Featuring performers Pauline Kempf (violin), Chea Kang (soprano), Luke Elmer (countertenor), Matthew Xie (lute and theorbo), and Erik Andersen (viola da gamba), the program delves into some of the most intimate music of the Italian Baroque, with works by Monteverdi, Gabrielli, Isabella de' Medici, Batista Fontana, and more.

Your support will contribute to venue rental fees and paying our artists.
