ABOUT THE PROJECT
Exodus & Resilience transforms U.S. migration stories into art, memory, and civic dialogue. We acquire works by artists whose practice deeply explores the causes and histories of displacement, then share them through pop-up exhibitions, a digital archive, and free community workshops.
WHY NOW
• 34 million people in the United States live with a legacy of displacement (UNHCR 2024).
• Art activates empathy and policy change faster than statistics alone.
• We are launching now to build momentum ahead of national election-year debates on immigration.
OUR NEXT STEPS
This timeline is aspirational and will scale with funds raised:
Seed — Fall 2025
• Acquire 5 anchor artworks
• Produce 3 micro-workshops in NYC
Grow — Winter 2025
• Build bilingual digital archive
• Host online artist talks
Expand — Spring 2026
• First traveling pop-up in Los Angeles
• Partner outreach for Midwest leg
Dates may shift depending on fundraising progress; supporters receive quarterly updates.
HOW YOUR GIFT WILL BE USED
• 30 % — Artist acquisitions & honoraria
• 25 % — Community workshops (venue, materials, facilitation)
• 20 % — Pop-up exhibition logistics (crating, transport, insurance)
• 15 % — Digital archive & accessibility (captioning, transcripts, web dev)
• 10 % — Administrative & fiscal-sponsor fees (includes a modest project-coordination stipend)
Percentages are estimates; budgets will be re-balanced transparently as funds arrive.
REWARD LEVELS
$25 — Name listed on project website + digital thank-you card (FMV $0)
$75 — Above + Instagram shout-out (FMV $0)
$250 — Above + name on exhibition donor wall & PDF catalogue (FMV $0)
$1 000 — All above + invitation to a private virtual studio tour with a featured artist (FMV $0)
FMV (Fair-Market Value) indicates the market price of each perk. Because each reward is intangible, its FMV is $0.
IMPACT GOALS 2025–26
• Reach 1 000 in-person visitors
• Engage 500 workshop participants
• Log 50 000 digital-archive views
Progress will be posted publicly every quarter.
