Breaking Down Barriers for Performing Artists
Performing artists often have difficulty obtaining continuing education after college graduation or when they initially move to large markets (NYC, LA, San Francisco). This Hurdle can significantly inhibit artists from launching their professional careers, networking with other artists, and improving or sharpening their artistic tools. 
FYA Studios' The Podcast Class aims to ease this Hurdle, as self-awareness in one's artistic practice can bring flow to one's instrument. It provides tools for artists to shift their mindsets on everything from finances to reflection, mental health, reverse engineering, auditions, and networking opportunities. We aim to keep this podcast accessible (free) to the public so that every performing artist can access holistic, business, and somatic education. 

The Hurdle We Face: Operational Costs - To maintain & grow, we seek $3,300 to cover:
Podcast Editing for 12 Episodes: $1,400
Marketing & Advertisements (Social Media Ads, Email Marketing, & Podcast Commercials): $1,900

Reaching this goal will allow us to continue providing holistic, business, and somatic education to artists everywhere.

Proven Impact on the Performing Arts Community
Since launching on November 4, 2024, we've seen a consistent 40% download growth. Our number of listeners engaging on social media has increased to 624 accounts, and 11,589 accounts have been reached, an increase of 186.4%.
These numbers tell us that we have content needed and wanted within the performing arts community. It also says that artists are seeking new tools in their arsenal, and much of what we share in our Podcast Class are holistic, business, and somatic tools that are financially out of reach for many artists - emerging or professional.
