Outcasts with a mission...
We are in workshop mode and need your help! Take a journey with us to get this bad boy monster of a play on its feet. Every dollar we raise will go directly toward our non-profit production. This includes everything from casting, rentals, rehearsals, wardrobe, lighting, set, props AND most importantly, to give as much $$$ as possible to our first-class artists, designers and actors.
Any amount (no matter what size) is an extraordinary gift.
We can't thank you enough for your support.
The story...
Frankensteins’ Dinner Party takes place at the monster's castle. There Frankenstein (aka Frank) lives with his wife, Francine and spends restless nights striving to prove his worth to his creator and father. Following in his father's scientific footsteps he struggles to unearth the blueprint for the "perfect human". After many failed attempts, including his four misfit children, Lizzy, Willy, Henry and Bonerpart, Frank stumbles upon it - a complete and flawless - WOMAN. In honor of her birth the Frankenstein’s throw a dinner party and unbeknownst to the rest of the family Frank has secretly invited his creator. Is this the evening Frankenstein will finally gain the approval he has longed for from his father? The night grows more chaotic with each incoming guest. And the more the Frankenstein’s attempt to restore order, be it with poetry, dance, music, or food, another mix-up follows.
Experience the party...
Included with your theatrical experience is a dinner party, an honored time to get acquainted with new and old friends. Through shared interests and hearty laughs audiences will enjoy an acclaimed dish from a pop up culinary chef and participate in the laughter and horror with the Frankenstein family and guests.
Our technique...
The director and actors rehearse and perform with view points utilizing architecture, topography, spatial relationships, gestures, shapes, tempo, duration, repetition and kinesthetic responses in order to enhance the plays' already avant-garde style and grandiose theme.
What we need...
This pre-sale/fundraising campaign will allow us to get our dates squared away, reserve performance and rehearsal space, cast the show, know exactly how much we have in our budget for costume, props, set pieces, lighting, etc., and begin our journey marketing and making magic happen.
