The next Hands On Murals Project is scheduled for July 9th, 2025, and I’m excited to collaborate with 4D Recovery, a Portland-based nonprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive recovery support services for adolescents, young adults, and families. With the launch of their new Adolescent Outpatient Treatment program on March 3rd, 2025, and the development of their Adolescent & Family Recovery Campus on the horizon, we are coming together to celebrate this expansion in a meaningful, lasting way—through art!

Both Hands On Murals and 4D Recovery believe in the power of collaboration, ensuring that the young people at the heart of this project play an active role in shaping its vision. This mural is more than just a piece of art—it’s a creative process where adolescents in recovery take the lead, making key decisions alongside their peers, mentors, and community members. By engaging youth in a way that is meaningful and empowering, we are creating a lasting symbol of their voices, resilience, and the collective strength found in recovery.
