Inventurous aims to reduce plastic waste in our community through advocacy and proactive, responsible recycling. As a micro recycler and nonprofit, we design and produce creative objects locally. We are currently fundraising to purchase equipment for our workshop, where we’re crafting exciting products, including our popular handmade Rubbish designer bags and new accessories to complement them.

We need: 
An Industrial sewing machine
a plastic shredder/ granulator
safety equipment like a fume extractor
an Injection Molder
Molds and other accessories 

We are currently collaborating with local schools to collect single-use plastics, which we process into moldable materials to create innovative objects. Our workshops also provide educational opportunities for students to learn about sustainability and the importance of recycling. The new equipment will enable us to handle larger volumes and various blends of plastics, expanding our capacity and creativity. Sustainability and creative design are at the core of Inventurous, and our mission to reduce plastic waste and create beautiful objects begins within our local community.
