Canvas, Watercolors and Watercolors neededWe have packed and distributed over 100 kits. We are in a great need to acquire more supplies for the kits. We have way more requests than we have supplies.

We Are Still collecting Art SuppliesWe are still accepting new and gently used Art Supplies, as well as Monetary donations. We have had multiple organizations reach out and ask for support of community art kits in their communities. A special need has been for the healthcare industry and teachers. Art teachers have found that many of their kids are needing healthy ways to express emotions. In the last hour we received 12 requests for kits to be delivered.

In Minneapolis, our community is moving through a season of profound weight. Between the anxieties surrounding ICE and the painful losses of life in our neighborhoods. The impact of expenses plus the burden of grief and uncertainty is heavy.
We believe that everyone deserves a safe place to put their feelings. We are a collective of local artists and neighbors who know that when words fail, art speaks. To support our community’s mental and emotional well-being, we are providing Free Creative Healing Kits.
Whether you need a quiet moment of reflection or a loud, colorful outlet for your frustration, these kits are for you.
