Since 2017, we've poured heart and soul into building our repertoire and reputation. We've forged opportunities to grow our company into a small but mighty powerhouse of contemporary dance and help shape Atlanta's promising art scene.

Among our achievements, one stands out as the most humbling and profound: gathering and sustaining a committed, passionate, fulfilled team of artists. Each day we marvel at their strength, beauty, integrity, and mettle. Through them, our mission moves forward. With their talents, the audience and community benefit.

Kit Modus audiences witness an unmatchable performance experience delivered with palpable fervency. It's made possible by facilitating artists' access to internationally significant choreographers and supreme training in an atmosphere of respect and joy. We don't call it a safe space; it just is. Inspired dancers show up on stage, and the attendees feel it.

While we wear terms like "small but mighty" as a badge of honor, imagine what we could do with funding. And since we are industrious, we know how to manage gifts honorably and make them stretch.

Season Six Goals

Guest Artists
Our mission to present an expansive repertoire of original contemporary dance works by outstanding choreographers remains central. This season, we'll present several works by guest artists like Christian Denice, plus a world premiere by Yoshito Sakuraba. We are seeking support to offset the expense of airfare and artist fees, plus bring on one additional creator.

Modus
From day one, our founder has been developing a class that seamlessly integrates classical ballet and contemporary movement, empowers maximum physicality and musicality, challenges the mind, ignites creativity, and reframes technique. We've amassed a mountain of discoveries that have significant value to dancers everywhere. Now, Modus, our distinctive training technique, is ready to be systematized. We are seeking support for the administrative costs and marketing required to share it with the world.

Intensive
While we've hosted numerous workshops and training techniques from far and wide, this year, a kit-specific professional intensive is on the menu. We're ready to open our doors to professional dancers to gain in-depth experience with our class, process, and repertoire. We are seeking support for space rental, marketing, and teaching artist fees.
