We have exciting news!
After 7 years of producing new musicals and plays Little Red Light Theatre is taking the step to become a non-profit theatre.
Little Red Light was Michael Blatt with a mission to create an intimate theatre experience that is tailored for the smart NYC theatre goer.

But we need your help! Becoming a non-profit means hiring lawyers, getting a staff and seed money for our first season! We need funds for actor salaries, rehearsal space and producing expensives. Be apart of helping a brand new non-profit in NYC!!!!

Our focus is to produce small new musicals and plays that are an alternative to traditional mainstream theatre. We hope to shine light on the Queer/Jewish American experience. we are the only theatre company in NYC with this unique focus.

Our name was inspired from our first show Hello Again which became the inspiration for our aesthetic design of the show. A red light in a window has traditionally been a signal to tell people that this is a house of ill repute, but it also signaled that it was a safe place for artists and people on the fringe of society; a place for “unconventional” people to gather.

Our Little Red Light is a reminder to our audiences they are about to see theatre in a safe space.

Little Red Light has made its mission to provide affordable rehearsal/performance spaces for all NYC theatrical groups.
