This all female identifying production of Shakespeare’s most haunting play explores the truly human conditions of power and ambition through social media, and what happens when these conditions are not shrouded as masculine side effects. Social Media, Fake News, and some Nasty Women tell this tale of Macbeth's rise to power, as one embroiled in interpretation.
With this campaign we are hoping to raise enough funds to pay our performers, designers, and technicians a small, yet reasonable stipend for their involvement with this production. As many artists will tell you, exposure doesn't pay the bills or even buy you a drink after the show, and we want to make sure that as a new theater company we start off by paying our team, and encourage the rest of the community to make it a standard practice.
If we can pay our team a reasonable stipend for an off-off-broadway production, we start supporting a culture that pays for art and artists. This is by no means, a living wage, or even minimum wage when broken down, but a step in the right direction to encourage others to do the same, and maybe someday, it won't be a unusual practice.
With our goal of $10,000 we hope to pay our entire cast, design team, technician crew, and production staff a reasonable stipend.

We hope you find it in your heart to help support these artists, and their work.
