Help us launch our newest project of original work: "ALL HANDS,” a live-scored Theatrical Documentary examining the role of the US Navy during the Civil War, looking through the lens of the crews of men who served onboard these vessels in often underappreciated but very pivotal maritime battles. There will be a staged reading of the new piece aboard the 1885 tall ship Wavertree on Friday November 7th at 7pm.

Compiled / Written by Andy Sowers, including text from "Diary of a Contraband: The Civil War Passage of a Black Sailor" by William B. Gould IV, and "White Jacket" By Herman Melville. Music by Faoileán.

Your donation will support our first reading of this work aboard the 1885 tall ship Wavertree. There are 4 actors to pay, a band of musicians to support, and logistical considerations (food, transportation, etc...) that need to be paid for, even for a one-night reading like this. Anything you give will be dearly appreciated. Tickets for the November 7th show are available at the South Street Seaport Museum's website, and need to be purchased separately. We are using the ticket income as a fundraiser as well, to keep the momentum of this project moving forward, and present a fully staged version of it next summer/fall. Thanks for your consideration!
