Our documentary, Maurice Hines: Bring Them Back, won the 2019 Grand Jury Prize in the Metropolis Competition at the prestigious DOC NYC film festival in New York City!  Riding high on this success and revving up for our film festival run, we still urgently need funds to cover the following:

  • Marketing fees: We need to hire publicity, marketing and social media managers to get the word out and promote this great film about unsung Broadway and tap star, Maurice Hines!
  • Film festival run expenses: We need funds for travel and talent appearance fees in order to launch a screening tour and bring the film and members of the cast to a city near you!
  • Big-ticket archival licenses: The amazing clips we use from The Tonight Show, 60 Minutes, Sesame Street, and others which are essential to telling Maurice's story, but they aren’t cheap. This film to date has been self-financed - so in all honesty, we need your help covering a great deal of outstanding debt that went toward getting these clips in the film in time for the festival world premiere.
