ONENESS
THREE FOR THE WORLD - NEW YORK LIVE ARTS THEATER
OCTOBER 26-29, 2022 @ 7:30PM
ONENESS, an extension of original “Transcending & Bliss” project performed in the Fall 2021, will be premiered within the dance project “Three For The World” , as choreographers Miriam Barbosa, Javier Dzul and Adrianna Thompson premiere three new works every evening from October 26-29 at the New York Live Arts Theater
This is an exploration of different vibrational aspects of sound and movement choreographed by Miriam Barbosa (Miriam Barbosa Dance) in collaboration with aerial dance by Javier Dzul (Dzul Dance) and performed by them plus an ensemble cast of 8 professional dancers to music instrumentation by Michael Mustafa Ulmer. This artistic collaborative project is a healing source impacting lives at difficult times in much need of strength and self empowerment. It is time for a social uplifting experience of consciousness, diversity and unity beyond race, gender, ethnicity, age or religion.
Ms Barbosa and Mr Dzul explore the air element through aerial dance to add sensorial anti gravitational feeling to the spectators creating a sense of lightness and weightlessness, magnifying their transformational meditative state in conjunction with the sounds and lighting effects. An ensemble cast reflects wholeness through powerful music and togetherness in dance weaving across the stage through beautiful images by multimedia art designer Marcela Bragagnolo. Musician Michael Ulmer also holds the space with sacred instrumentation and ecstatic rhythm which affects not only the choreography but all viewers at a cellular level.
Miriam Barbosa has experienced the deep healing effects from sound meditation through sacred instruments used by different culture to promote healing, such as singing bowls and gongs. She would like to share with the world this beautiful work promoting a deep sense of well being and higher consciousness to all viewers, inspiring, uniting, strengthening their inner power and potential as human beings. This multidisciplinary project is meant to uplift people’s lives transcending above all social issues as a healing tool.
