Help Movementum Dance Project reach our goal to put on our Season 2 full scale production, Velocity! On September 16th, 2022 Movementum Dance Project will be presenting their first full length, full scale production performance, Velocity, at Ruth Page Center for the Arts in Chicago Illinois. As a brand new company just past our first year of operations, we need some help to make this show happen and we are looking at our supporters to assist us in reaching our goal!

Movementum Dance Project is a brand new Chicago based dance company. Founded in 2021 by Marissa Kaufmann, Movementum Dance Project strives to provide audience members with entertaining, uplifting, and powerful dance performances rooted in strong technical capabilities and connection with the audience. Movementum prides themselves in creating accessible work that all audience members, no matter how much experience they have in watching professional dance, to enjoy, be entertained, and appreciate.

Your donation goes to the beautiful Ruth Page theater rental to showcase not only our pieces but also a pre-show presented by local youth dancers in the community, technical staff, lighting and sound to elevate each piece and make them different than you have ever seen each piece, new costumes for each piece, guest and in house choreographers pay, and dancer stipends. Our dancers have been working incredibly hard these past 2 seasons to not only choreograph and perform for the company but also to help Movementum Dance Project get on its feet as a new dance company different than any other in Chicago!
