In March 2026, Mirror Theater Company will present Much Ado About Nothing, a story of deception, honor, and trust in matters of the heart. The story follows two seemingly opposite love stories as they navigate expectations, fears, and the sometimes unexpectedness of falling in love.
Partner with UsWe have the privilege of partnering with the historic
Players Theater in the West Village through their residency program. They are providing us with a performance space and discounted rehearsal studios which is an enormous gift as performance space is often 30%-40% of a show's budget. We are so grateful for The Players Theater and their investment in Mirror Theater Company.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 which will help us
- pay our actors
- pay our creative team
- build set and props
- purchase and build costumes
- rent rehearsal space
- misc - marketing materials, event insurance, programs, etc
Mirror Theater Company seeks to fill the gap between providing substantial compensation for our actors and creative team and providing an accessible theater experience for the average New Yorker by keeping ticket costs low. Your financial partnership empowers us to do that.
We want to be generous with our actors and creatives by providing flexible budgets and substantial pay, anything given beyond our $10,000 goal will be provided to our Much Ado About Nothing team. Thank you for partnering with us to tell stories that “hold the mirror up to nature” and we look forward to seeing you at Mirror Theater Company’s inaugural production of Much Ado About Nothing.

mirrortheatercompany.com More About Mirror Theater Company
Mirror Theater Company was inspired by a line in Hamlet which describes theater as an instrument “to hold, as ‘twere, the mirror up to nature” (Hamlet, act III, scene 2). We do not aim to craft stories in an especially provocative or uniquely strange way, but rather to present them honestly and of good quality to inspire self-reflection in the minds of our audience members. Questions like, “what would I have done in that situation?” or “what traits of that character do I see in myself?” Joining in the tradition of storytelling that humans have practiced for millennia, Mirror Theater Company believes in the power of theater to spark self-examination and rich conversation. We seek to encourage and empower our audience members to take part in both. We invite you to visit
