About Our Fall Season:
The 2017/18 season of MusicTalks at Interface explores the possibilities created by combining different instruments and genres, making for a series of unique and exciting programs. The season will commence with a fiery evening of Spanish and Latin music featuring four cellists and a soprano, will continue with a String Quartet concert featuring haunting music and a rare showcase of the recorder in all its glory!
As always, our 90 minute, intimate, salon-style concerts will offer introductions to the composers and their works, musical demonstrations, and a space for dialogue between artists and audience.
MusicTalks @ Interface
Our Home venue, Interface, offers a welcoming environment to experience music. The warm salon setting, the comfort of the designed furniture as well as being surrounded by the authentic brick walls create the intimate setting that we strive to create music within. With a glass of wine in hand, our audience is invited to feel at home, unwind and form new connections with each other and the musicians. The intimacy between audience and musician that the venue offers, as well as our unique concert-talk format allows us to break down the barriers between musicians and audience by creating a new listening experience.
MusicTalks Children Programs
Our children programs present an exciting foray into the world of music with interactive activities that feature a variety of musical instruments. Whether we are performing in small groups or presenting large scale ensembles, MusicTalks offers personal encounters with the musicians and their instruments and brings to life children’s favorite books through music.
