Founded in January of 2020 by two professional ballet dancers, New England Ballet Theatre (NEBT) is Connecticut's newest ballet company. New England Ballet Theatre is dedicated to the development of new choreography and the production of new ballets, while giving choreographers the opportunity to have artistic freedom in their creative process. As a company, we also strive to make our dancers needs a priority. NEBT is committed to creating a supportive environment in which its artists can thrive and prosper. It is our goal to ensure that our dancers have healthy and long careers. In addition to providing world class productions, NEBT is dedicated to making dance more accessible to everyone. We strive to develop educational programs with schools and dance studios in the area.

New England Ballet Theatre is based out of Hartford, Connecticut. NEBT is working to expand its base and programs throughout the six states of New England.

 

Due to COVID-19 we had to postpone our inaugural performance of The Carnival of the Animals at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art. While it is our goal to include this production in our 2020-2021 performing season, we have suffered financial loss due to the postponement. At this time we are seeking support and donations to help us prepare for our first season. In response to this unprecedented time, NEBT is offering free live classes via our Instagram account to help grown and engage our audience base.
