"There is a crack in everything - that’s how the light gets in.”
“A Crack in Everything” is a play that explores antisemitism—an urgent issue as incidents rise worldwide—while celebrating the richness of Jewish identity. On Oct 21, 2025, it will be performed at the Santa Monica Playhouse Main Stage with A BFF Binge Fringe Festival of Free Theatre Event. Though admission is free, I’m raising $7,000 to cover cast, crew, sets, props, and costumes. Your generosity gives voice to Jewish stories and Jewish resilience.
Thank you for your support of this impactful project!
Play synopsis:
When a hole appears between two apartments, so does the possibility of connection. Chaya, a young religious Jew, finds herself unexpectedly drawn to her neighbor, Marshall. But as secrets come to light, she must confront the boundaries of identity, love, and forgiveness in a world where intolerance lives next door. This moving ensemble piece is a tense and tender romantic drama about the cost of seeing someone clearly through a fractured wall.
