Portland Shakespeare Company

Portland Shakespeare Company stages site-specific classical and historical theatre in the Emmanuel Chapel at St. Luke's Cathedral in Portland, Maine. Our focus for the 2023-2024 season is an exploration of the intersection of church and state, power and mercy. As a small, independent theatre company we do not have the institutional advantages of larger organizations, and ticket sales alone can never cover operational costs.
