I'm Gianna Milici and I am an NYC based performer and comedian. I am beyond excited to be bringing my solo musical comedy Pretty Delusional back from Edinburgh Fringe to HERE Arts Center in NYC this August! And I need your help to make it happen!
The HERE Arts sublet series allows for artists like me to showcase original work to audiences all over the city, and create community. This is an incredible opportunity I am extremely grateful for, but with this opportunity comes many expenses. Putting on a show in NYC as an emerging artist is no easy feat.

Here's a little bit about the show:
In this blend of personal story telling and musical comedy, Pretty Delusional is a tale of confronting what it means to have a "sense of self" amidst romantic failures. It is journey through first loves, hookups, childhood memories, and the battle of loving too much or not at all. While, of course, trying to not vomit in the process.
This show is one for the girls, and most importantly, it’s for anyone who’s ever felt embarrassed to be rejected, knocked down, or unlucky in love. Although it can feel delusional to choose confidence and self love, we have to. And honestly, it’s kinda fun.

Quotes from Reviews of Pretty Delusional at Edinburgh Fringe:
“Milici exposes the agonies, ecstasies and humiliations of what it means to desire and want to be desired as a young woman in the modern world.”
-The Skinny
“This musical variety show is an absolute riot leaving you wanting to dance with your friends, love yourself, and of course with newfound confidence that you are ‘hotter than Beyoncé!’”
-Fringe Review
“Milici’s writing is clever, witty and at times, devastating. This is in no way virtue-signalling however: Milici’s bubbliness and charming humour work as a brilliant foil to ensure that everyone keeps smiling and has fun.”
-Edinburgh Guide
