Rasa string quartet's first album will reflect the spirit of our live concerts — featuring original tunes by Maura Shawn Scanlin, arrangements of traditional Korean music by Mina Kim, and works by classical composers including Haydn, William Grant Still, and living composer Sato Matsui. Through this album, we aim to capture how we curate each program: weaving folk-inspired music and classical repertoire together to create an engaging and memorable listening experience for our audience.
