Richmond Yiddish Week is a festival inviting Richmonders of all backgrounds to explore Yiddishkayt – Yiddish culture – through citywide cultural offerings. Founded by young local Richmonders with a deep passion for preserving and celebrating this heritage, Richmond Yiddish Week is entirely grassroots and volunteer-run, and Virginia's first-ever festival dedicated entirely to Yiddish.

After an enormously successful pilot event, we are raising funds to bring the festival back in 2027 and lay the foundation for a sustainable future of Yiddish-themed events in the Richmond area. Your support will help us:
Compensate our artists and keep our programs accessible to all
Cover essential expenses like speaker fees, venue rentals, and insurance
Plan for bigger and better future programs featuring world-class performers and scholars
By donating any amount, you are helping to sustain this vibrant culture and make it accessible to all. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
A Groysen Dank! Thank you for supporting our mission to bring Yiddishkayt to Richmond!
