We shot SAINT MARY — a short film about one woman's spiritual and sexual reckoning — on Easter weekend, 2026.

If you've been following us since the beginning you know that our whirlwind 30 day pre-production push — casting, crewing, locking the script, and fundraising (!) — was a huge success, thanks to the generosity of our patron saints. ✨ (If you're new here, you can see where we came from at our pre-production Fractured Atlas page!).

YOU helped us raise exactly what we needed to shoot the film, with an incredible cast and crew, a gifted main location, and generous gifts of skill and time from our set PAs and producers. 

Now we're raising the $5,000 we need for post-production, i.e. the part where the film actually gets made – now is when we edit, audio mix, color correct and score the film, which we'll then submit to film festivals, where the story gets shared and the conversation gets sparked.

Contributing at this stage means financing creative magic. In post-production, we take the raw footage captured by our brilliant creative team and place it in the hands of our equally brilliant editor Veronica Rutledge, composer Jim Farmer, and our colorist and audio mixer.

Alongside Director/Writer Erin Germaine Mahoney, with input from Kristin Krall, Michaela Morton, and our (all woman) producing team, our genius post-production artists will make the film we shot.

Your contributions in this final stage will fund payment for these artists. You'll also be financing festival submissions and a coffer to make it possible for our producers to attend the festivals we're accepted into — i.e. to pitch the short film for distribution and find partners for the feature film project.
