Pluck Lot started in 2025 as an Online Social Mixer for Lute and Guitar players. Now Pluck Lot is open to the public: enthusiasts of early music and plucked strings welcome!

Pluck Lot is a potluck in which we bring our community together through anecdotes and fellowship, with online and in person Educational and Performing events. 

SaSa Sounds, in collaboration with the Lute Society of America – North Carolina Chapter, proposes Pluck Lot, a multi-platform initiative designed to expand public engagement with early music through accessible, hybrid programming. The project integrates three components: 1-. Pluck Lot: a bi-monthly online social series
2-. SaSa’s Pluck Lot Blog: a digital publication platform through social media and video clips.
3-. Pluck Lot Fest 2027:  a culminating hybrid event for the NC community. 

Next Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons we will present: 
1-. Four Online Social mixers with special guests in the Lute, Guitar and Harp communities, 
2-. Coverage of various Early Music Events by local organization in the NC Triangle and, 
3-. Two concerts on Medieval and Baroque Spanish music, with an instrument exhibition at the Pluck Lot Fest 2027 during the HIP Festival in NC.

Please contribute to our Spring Fundraising Campaign:

A donation of $100, will receive a Reward of 4 free tickets to the next SaSa Sounds concert.

A donation of $50, will receive a Reward of a choice of a free private online lesson (voice, lute or guitar) or one ticket to each Pluck Lot concert.

A donation of $25, will receive a Reward of a choice of an in person coffee/tea date with SaSa or one ticket to one of the Pluck Lot concerts.

For our final goal of $5,000. All donations are tax deductible.
