Small Plates Choreography Festival returns to Newburgh, NY on November 4, 2023 for the first concert in four years. Chapman Steamer Arts in Newburgh, NY will host two performances at 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. 

Featured artists include Alexandra Bilodea, Jennifer Chin - JENNIFERCHINdance, Sofia Forero & Nicolas Fiery, Clarissa Gregory, Shaena Kate & Gaby Meza, Caitlin Morgan

Small Plates Choreography Festival is currently in a phase of rebuilding and growth following a pause in productions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The upcoming November performances in Newburgh will signify the beginning of a new chapter for Small Plates as we strive to support dance makers and foster meaningful connections with audiences.

We are raising funds to cover the expenses for our upcoming event in Newburgh. The funds will be used to provide additional seating for the venue, professional photography and videography, and to supplement travel and food expenses. Your contribution will help make this event a success.

Small Plates Choreography Festival
is a dance performance series advancing the work of dance makers, a growing platform for artist promotion, and an incubator for creative community. Created with the intention to create meaningful performance opportunities for choreographers and dancers, and to cultivate a zoetic interface between movement artists and their audiences. The festival provides a venue for community building through performance, dialogue, and professional networking.
